Pilates is one of the best practices available today that can completely transform your body in a short amount of time when performed regularly.

Seeming as the vast variety of Pilates classes each promote the strengthening, lengthening and toning of the body (thus resulting in a smoking-hot bod), it’s easy to understand why so many celebrities have turned to this workout style themselves.

After all, they do need to be ready for every unexpected moment in front of the camera, right?

If you’re wondering what “Megaformer Pilates” is all about, think of it as a supercharged version of the standard “Reformer Pilates”. It is a far less common style, however, something that we are likely to see take off with full speed in the near future.

Well, if it’s good enough for Cameron, it’s good enough for us!

Her long-time personal trainer Teddy Bass explained to the media that Cameron performs a mixture of Pilates, cardio and weight training to uphold her drool-worthy physique.

He commented That seems to be the best combination for women over 30. Women need weight — it’s great for building the butt. And elongation and smallness is tapped by doing Pilates.”

  8. I’m interested in implementing this kind of fitness to myself but don’t know where or how to start. Can I start something like this at home with minimal fitness equipment like dumbbells only? I live here in a place where fitness gyms are located very far away, usually a 2-hour travel going there and another 2-hour travel going home. So, doing it at home seems like a more practical way. I’d like to see a guide where one can get started doing Pilates at home.

    1. Hi Gomer, thanks for your question. I’m more than happy to help 🙂

Absolutely, Pilates comes in many forms and “Mat Pilates” sounds like it will be the best option for you to get started at home if you don’t wish to spend much on equipment.

Stay tuned because I will be uploading a blog post very soon with some sequences that you can do at home as well as an app that I highly recommend. You can check it out in advance if you like, the link is below 🙂

Hope this helps! Just let me know if you have any other questions.
